Ketchum
had a successful career as a character actor, like Bernie Kopell
appearing in almost every sitcom in the ‘70’s, although my personal
favorite is a guest spot he did on the Odd Couple. He also is a favorite
of Leonard Stern, having been cast in two of Stern's shows, Get Smart and I'm Dickens, He's Fenster.
He also has had a successful career as a writer and producer, perhaps best known for his work on Highway to Heaven. ~Source: WouldYouBelieve.com
You saw him as Agent 13 in Get Smart, frequently hidden in some receptacle, like a cigarette machine or trash can. And he played "Spiffy" in TV's Camp Runamuck, trembling every time he saw the beautiful Nina Wayne, sister of Carol Wayne of Tonight Show fame.
